Santa Looks for Talent

The free annual holiday concert, An Evening with Mr. and Mrs. Claus and Friends, is scheduled for December 10, 2008 in the Teaneck Library auditorium at 7:30 PM. Sponsored by the Melody Arons Center, the evening is designed as a family event featuring talent of local children who enjoy performing. All are welcome to participate. The Santa Claus concert is hosted by Ray and Marilyn Arons, officers of the Melody Arons Center, and who are also Mr. and Mrs. Claus for this event.

This year, a new feature is planned - the debut of the MAC Singers. This is a chorus of young children, 3-12, who will introduce the show and welcome its individual acts. The favorite portion of last year’s program will also be presented. Each child in the audience who wants to play drums for a musical number will have a turn to play music with Santa’s friends and family.

The first rehearsal is on November 10, 2008 at 7 P.M. If a family wants their child to be involved with the program, please call MAC at 201-692-7908 before the first rehearsal. In addition, local musicians are encouraged to contribute their talents for the evening.
