Philosophy

MAC seeks to learn about, inform, and connect all aspects of its motto-"Growing, Learning, Loving- A Celebration of Life." Our goal is to be a better and more effective parent, teacher, clinician and community member for children 0-5. We celebrate the potential of life in experiences of shared joy and pleasure, thereby discovering that these are not achieved without hard work, responsibility, sharing, and an open and disciplined mind. We are committed to equity, with a genuine passion for the individual welfare of children as both individuals and as members of the community.

We emphasize the importance of music, art, and movement in that these transcend language, socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity and gender. We seek to maximize potential by building bridges between science and art, child and parent, parents and schools, families and community. We endeavor to enrich growth, find new ways to learn, and to celebrate and expand the gifts of love of family, love of child, love of learning and love of life.
