MAC Parent Training
As parents, it is our job to be our child’s advocate. The school district’s main goal is to keep costs down. MAC shows us how to best advocate for our children by teaching us to keep focused on our goals and not allowing us to double talk during class or a meeting. We learn terminology and what an IEP should contain. This is one place to get the information you need to benefit your child.

ABC Neuroscience Study
My son was diagnosed with PDD when he was 2. It was around then that I learned about MAC and its neuroscience study. Thinking back to when we started in the study it gives me a big lump in my throat, but also a big smile- thinking about Ray and Marilyn on the floor with my little one. It all “clicked’ from the beginning. They danced, they sang, they rolled and jumped, they played piano, guitar and drums. They hugged a lot and I saw how “deep pressure” worked while my son was on the piano bench. I was there each week and have been for 18 months. As I watch, I try and keep my mouth shut and hide the smile or the tears as I watch my boy do something for the first time. The study is so much fun. My son talks in sentences now. He sings and drums like he came from a previous life. He engages and seeks children to play with. He is the sunshine of our lives.
