Should I Join?
  • Are you curious about how to improve services for children 0-5?

  • As a professional who works with children, have you experienced frustration with "the system" in getting services that young children need?

  • As a teacher, are you convinced that there is more to teaching than you were taught? As a therapist and clinician, do you hear the word "transdisciplinary" and wonder what therapy across specialties means in a practical sense?

  • Does the fact that there are so few studies to better understand the needs of non-white, non-English speaking children disturb you?

  • Are you concerned about the lack of high quality and affordable day care, early intervention and preschool programs for the middle class and working poor?

  • Is education the largest public health crisis in America?

  • Do we live at a moment in history when young children have never been in greater jeopardy?

  • Do you want to participate in a celebration of life?

  • Do you want to associate with and join an organization where real questions can be asked and real answers given, - even if the answer is "We don't know yet."?

If your answer is "Yes" to any one of these questions, you should join the Melody Arons Center for Applied Preschool Research and Education, Inc.
