The Busy Box

The Busy Box handbook is the first and only user-friendly explanation in the nation for parents and professionals involved in the early intervention system. It translates the federal law governing early intervention and discusses how it affects both parents and professionals.

The title for this handbook is taken from a favorite infant's toy. Early intervention, as does the Busy Box, has all of the same bells, rolling wheels and mysteries to explore. Sometimes, as with the toy, we reach for the ring but cannot grasp it. The Busy Box provides information that helps explore the ever changing world of early intervention.
